RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

I am constantly amazed at the kindness of people.  In a world where love of self often seems to reign supreme there are those out there who continually perform random acts of kindness.

It can be the simplest of things - from a smile or kind word to opening a door for someone right through to cooking a casserole for a family who is struggling.   The simple practical things inspire me and the kindly word of compassion or sympathy can mean the world to someone who is struggling.

Make a phone call, send a letter or email, offer words of comfort, knock on some one's door.  Pick a flower from your garden and take it to a neighbour.  Make a coffee and sit and listen to some one's cares and woes.
Compliment someone and enjoy the warmth you will feel.

I have seen love and care in action by the support given to families who are grieving and families who have members in hospital  - your care and expressions of support INSPIRE me.

You restore my faith in human kindness.

Love and hugs,
Linda.

  1. The random smile or gesture is the best to give and to receive one is a memory to store
