I wish I could explain how much this helped me when the days were grim and the path steep and difficult - one of my nurses said something similar to me about only needing to take one step at a time, and that's the truth - the nice thing about the future is that we only get it a day at a time.
This inspired me then and still does.
It is cold and wet in my little corner of the world and yet the sun still shines in my heart wrapped in rays of gratitude for all I have.
