Good Afternoon,

It is a beautiful spring day here in Adelaide and the next two or three days are going to be even warmer.  I have been busy over the past two or three days trying to complete a task I set for myself by sorting through things in my daughter's bedroom and then making it into a sewing/craft space.

I am getting on quite well but am having to live with the limitations my life brings - I am slower and less able to move things around.  However I am alive and well and able to tell you about it.  What difference do a couple more days make.  It will be great when I get it straight - and then I may well be inspired to do some sewing.  I don't like having to put the machine away all the time so it tends not to get done.  I have tablecloths to sew, a cushion for my daughter and  of course the usual "mending and repairing".

I am hoping having my very own "sewing space" will inspire me. - if not I will have tidies and sorted a whole room.   I have put some shelves in there and have my ribbons and buttons on those and also other craft things.

I also have very full rubbish bins with the stuff I have tossed out - I thought I was a hoarder - well Naomi is too.

Daylight Saving (summer time) has been with us for a week and I seem to have settled well this time with it which is great.  I do enjoy the lighter evenings and I am always up before it is light no matter what the time on the clock says.

Nice and very tasty recipe to share today.

CHEESE AND BACON PUFFS

½ cup milk
1 egg lightly beaten
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 bacon rashers OR 1 cup bacon piece
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 cup SR flour
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Pepper & salt to taste

Cook bacon and onion for 2 minutes and let cool. Combine milk and egg in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well and drop rounded teaspoons of mixture onto baking paper lined oven trays. Bake in hot oven about 20 minutes.

Enjoy cooking them - they are easy enough to have little ones to help, and enjoy eating them

Indulge yourselves.

Take special care and be safe.

Love and hugs,
